FINDING AN AREA WITH LIST COMMAND
by: Sarah

if you creat a polyline around the area, you can then list that polyline. Or you can try bpoly. to do this you type bpoly and then select a point inside the area. as long as it's a closed area the computer with create a polyline without you having to pick each point with the polyline command. Either way once you have the polyline you can then list the item and find the area. type li or list and enter then select the polyline (continuous line)

Area command
by: Cristen

After you have clicked the 4th corner, you have to click on the first corner again, then it will show you the area. So if you want the area of a rectangle, it will take 5 clicks, not just the 4 corners. You always have to click on your starting point to finish the command.
