Converting Lines Into Polygons

How do you convert individual lines (such as a rectangle) into a polygon?

Type PE (polyline edit).

Type M (for multiple)

Select all the individual lines you want to convert to polylines.

Enter Y (yes) to convert all the lines you chose to polylines.

To a polygon?

To get them into a polygon first they would already have to be joined at the ends.

So follow the steps Joe has above and then use the polyline edit command again to join the individual polylines.
