Change XREF Path Globally

by Ray

Can I change the path of a group of xref drawings, or do I have to do this individually?

Our IT Dept moved the files to a new physical server and all paths need changed.

Reference Manager
by: Joseph

What version of AutoCAD are you using?

I'm looking at 2011. There is a Reference Manager that's included, but it is located separate to the AutoCAD program.

Try launching Reference Manager from:

Go to:

1. Windows Start

2. All Programs

3. Autodesk

4. AutoCAD

5. Reference Manager

Once you launch the program, you should have the ability to control XREF's within a number of drawings of your choosing.
