Information About Geometries on the Screen + Flattening geometries
(Rhinebeck, New York, United States)
(I once knew this...,)
How do I find out the properties of a geometry on the screen - i.e. is it a polyline or a spline or a line? Is it a closed polyline? (How do I close it?)
If a drawing looks two dimensional on my screen, the lines sometimes project out onto different planes in another view.
How can I access those views? Might those views be inaccessible if the original drawing was created in another program (say Rhino)?
How do I flatten the image - that is, bring the geometries down all onto a the same plane so that lines that seem to intersect truly do...
