Highlighting Lines in AutoCAD

I did something to my preferences.

I am no longer able to highlight more than one line at a time.

If I click on a line to highlight and than attempt to highlight a second line at the same time, I lose the first line highlighted.

This is preventing me from moving objects on my drawing.

How do I reset the preference to have the ability to highlight multiple lines?

Type "pickadd" at command prompt and give new value.
