Furniture Blocks

I'm trying to insert furniture into my AutoCAD drawing. However, once I insert it it asks for an insertion point than another opposite corner insertion point. I click on the 2 points but the block is always blown out of proportion and I can't seem to control the size or rotate it. What should I do?

Charlene,

After you insert your furniture block, AutoCAD should be prompting you to specify a scale for your block. The default is 1, so if you hit the ENTER key rather than clicking a 2nd point, your block will be inserted at the scale it was originally drawn. From there you can decide if you need to make your block bigger or smaller using the SCALE command.
