AutoCAD Educational Version Plot Stamp

AutoCAD Educational Version Plot Stamp

The educational version I have plots with the notes on all 4 sides that the drawing was prepared using an education version. Is there any way to turn that off?

PRODUCED BY AN AUTODESK EDUCATIONAL PRODUCT
by: Anonymous

Yes I've had the same problem and would like to hear others thoughts and solutions on this.

Now I've got a full licensed AutoCAD seat, but I've received drawings/ blocks from others where the following message appears:

"Educational Version - Plot Stamped Detected

This drawing will display the message, "PRODUCED BY AN AUTODESK EDUCATIONAL PRODUCT."

At some point, some one with an educational version did some work on these drawings, and now the plot stamp seems embedded and carried forward with every drawing.

I've gotten around this by trimming it off the plot, but what a pain. Would love to hear a workaround.

Education version stamp on plots
by: Anonymous

Good day,
I have had the very same problem when receiving drawings produced by students. I did find, however, that by saving as a DXF file, and reopening, the stamp had been removed.

Remove the AutoCAD Educational Plot Stamp with Release 2015
by: Pat

So if you have AutoCAD Release 2015, or know someone who does, I heard you can now remove the Educational Plot Stamp when saving the drawing in 2015 format.

I haven't tried it yet, but maybe Autodesk's latest version of the drawing converter program DWG TrueView will do this also?
